About OwedList

Most class action settlements pay out to a small fraction of the people who qualify, because nobody hears about them before the deadline. OwedList watches for new settlements and emails members the ones that match their answers, with a link straight to the official claim site.

We are not a law firm and we never file a claim for you. Every settlement on the site shows its source and the date we last verified it, and every dollar figure is labeled as an estimate.

Who verifies the data

OwedList checks every settlement against the official administrator's website — and where useful, the court docket — before it is published, and re-checks it at every stage change: claims opening, deadlines, final approval, and payments going out. Each page carries a visible "last verified" date and a dated log of changes.

How verification works

  • Facts come from the official settlement site and court records only — never from other aggregators.
  • A claim-site link appears only after it is confirmed; until then the page says "official site not yet confirmed".
  • Payout figures are always labeled estimates, because most settlements split a fund among everyone who files.
  • No settlement can pay to be listed, and we take no money from law firms or claim-filing services.
